We strategically collaborate with families to empower them through education. We foster self-advocacy skills that extend far beyond the classroom and we champion the rights of every student on their journey to a future that fits their individual vision of success.

At EmpowerED, our vision is to create systemwide change in the Texas public school districts by "empowering" families of students with disabilities and the students themselves who need special education services, to self-advocate for their legally entitled rights to a free and appropriate public education.

We begin with a FREE initial consultation to assess each individual situation and need.
Whether you have found us at the beginning of your special education journey, in the middle, or in full-blown crisis mode....the steps we take will be personalized and as unique as every child is.
We will tailor our guidance to the specific needs of each family, empowering them to proactively engage in their child's education.
Our comprehensive support for every family includes:
- Reviewing and explaining IEP documents
- Deciphering evaluations and test scores
- Navigating the federal and state laws that protect the rights of every student
- Drafting comprehensive goals and objectives
- Strategizing on best ways to achieve student-centered outcomes
- Filing complaints with State Agencies
- Acting as the student's voice as an advocate in an ARD meetings, mediation, or due process hearings
- Training families to self-advocate along every step in the journey from student to adulthood and independence
